The War On Them is a video web series that followed the Couchsurfing adventures of Bobby and Eric; two friends who survived the second Gulf War and decided to travel the world. Inspired by the CouchSurfing community, they decided to take the idea of "changing the world one couch at a time" a step further by introducing the world community to CouchSurfing and showing them how travel can change their entire life experience.
A viewer produced show; they asked for viewer support in order to make their dream a reality and they were asked to participate the production in these ways:
- Watching and sharing the episodes with your friends!
- Voting and helping us determine our next destination city
- Through financial contributions and receiving film credit
- And finally, by joining the CouchSurfing community
The show was 'cancelled' in 2007 primarily based on financial reasons, however, they decided to keep the site alive and active after that time. Now, after 5 years have chosen to revisit their post War On Them experiences and share those with you. Stay tuned. |
